A welcoming introduction to piano, with strong foundations from the very first lesson.
Welcome
Hi! I’m Kayla, a passionate pianist and dedicated piano teacher with 10+ years of musical training and 3+ years of teaching experience, offering lessons for students of all ages and abilities.
Whether you’re learning your very first piece or preparing for piano examinations, I aim to make lessons enjoyable, encouraging, and tailored to your individual goals.

About me
My passion for music began at the age of five, when I was inspired to learn the piano after hearing a friend perform. Since then, I have dedicated many years to developing my skills through intensive classical piano training, studying a broad range of repertoire from different musical periods and composers.
Throughout primary school, I regularly performed at school assemblies and award ceremonies, which helped build my confidence as a young musician. In 2018, I completed my Grade 8 piano examination while preparing to audition for the Conservatorium High School, one of Australia’s leading specialist music schools, where I was successfully admitted in 2019.
During my six years at the Conservatorium High School, I received a comprehensive music education that extended beyond solo piano performance. I actively participated in choirs, orchestras, chamber ensembles, and collaborative performances, developing strong musicianship, ensemble skills, and a deep appreciation for classical music.
Alongside my studies, I continued to refine my piano performance and teaching skills, achieving the Associate in Music, Australia (AMusA) diploma in 2023 and the Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL) in Piano Performance in 2025. These experiences have shaped my goal to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students build strong technical foundations, musical confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of music.
Now, I am excited to dedicate my time to teaching and inspiring the next generation of young pianists. I believe every child has the potential to develop a lifelong appreciation for music when guided with patience, encouragement, and the right foundation.
